Privacy policy
This policy explains how MARCO FRIGERI LTD collects and uses personal data through this website and in the course of our work.
Who we are
MARCO FRIGERI LTD is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17471160, with our registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
For any question about this policy or your data, email info@frigericompany.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use the contact form or email us: your name, email address, company name, phone number (if you give it) and the content of your message.
When you become a client: the contact details of the people we work with, and the business information needed to carry out the engagement and invoice for it.
When you visit the website: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in server logs used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use analytics or advertising tools.
How we use it and our lawful basis
To reply to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or steps you have asked us to take before entering into a contract.
To deliver the services we have agreed and to invoice for them — performance of a contract.
To keep accounting and tax records — compliance with a legal obligation.
To keep the website secure and working — our legitimate interest in running a reliable website.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers acting on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions: our website hosting provider, the service that receives contact form submissions, and our email provider. If you become a client, also our accountant.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on an adequacy decision such as the UK–US data bridge, or on the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum issued by the Information Commissioner's Office.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 12 months after our last contact.
Client records: for the length of the engagement and then 6 years, to meet accounting and tax requirements.
Server logs: as set by our hosting provider, usually no more than a few weeks.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@frigericompany.co.uk. We reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority: ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and reputable providers to protect personal data. All client engagements are covered by a mutual non-disclosure agreement.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle personal data changes. The date at the bottom shows the latest version.
